FC Victoria head Coach Dennis Otieno believes forward young star Kevintom Machika, 13 years old, can only get better as the season progresses, and he has vowed to make him the best striker in the country’s future.
Machika is the top scorer at Victoria Soccer Academy with FC Victoria, and has scored 2 goals in the county league this season. At VSA we hail his impact in our game and his positioning in the game.
He brings a very important physical aspect to each game: he is ready to get into action at any moment, he takes on the defenders, and he is very quick in thinking and making decisions, which are key aspects for a good striker.
Machika always enjoys the match when he plays, he always knows when to be in attack and in defense, and gives one hundred percent effort.
The combination of Machika and fellow player Mshangaa is great, they complement each other well. If they keep focused on their studies and on practicing football and their discipline, these young boys will have a bright future
Then we also have Charles Marieta and Malvin Muruwatetu who bring in different aspect from the midfields and can score on the pitch. They work with Cyrus Malei on the right wing and Victor Ochieng or Edwin Kweyu on the left wing. Other players full of potential include Antony Musyoka, Peter Moshoki, John Okatch, Nashon Alembi, Samson Odhiambo, Kelvin Mukundi, Tom Mutua, Joshua Rono and Kennedy Nzuki.
